‘Paris is always a good idea’
De twee warmste dagen van het jaar (37°C) heb ik ‘overleefd’ in Parijs met “mijn BFF’s” (Best Fashion Blogger Friends). Vanuit Brussel Zuid ben je met de TGV al na een uurtje in het centrum van Parijs, makkelijker kan het niet.
I survived the two hottest days of the summer in Paris with my BFF (best fashion blogger friends). With the TGV train from Brussels we only needed one hour to be in the centre of Paris.

Ons hotel La Comtesse, kozen we uit omwille van het prachtige zicht op de Eiffeltoren. Altijd op zoek naar de beste blogspots ! Vanuit het hotel konden we te voet, met de metro of de taxi het centrum van Parijs op 5 minuten bereiken.

We booked two rooms at the Hotel La Comtesse, a charming 4 star boutique hotel with an amazing view on the Eiffel tower. Hotel La Comtesse is located on the left bank of the Seine, in the heart of the 7th district, one of the most glamorous in Paris. Ideally located to discover Paris, by metro, foot or taxi. 
Het eerste to do op ons lijstje was enkele leuke foto’s maken bij het Louvre en het bezoeken van onze favoriete winkels Chanel, Dior, Laduree en Goyard. Onze lunch met zicht op de Eiffeltoren op het terras van Cafe de l’Homme was er eentje om nooit te vergeten. Mag ik je aanraden om als dessert sorbet of ijs te kiezen, echt de beste ooit!

After strolling around in the typical streets of Paris, visiting our favorite shops Chanel, Dior, Laduree and Goyard we finally could chill out at Café de l’Homme for a late lunch with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. Can I specifiquely recommend to choose a sorbet or ice cream as dessert, the best I have ever tasted!
Eindelijk eens binnen gaan kijken in de Galleries Lafayette. Impressionant die Art Deco koepel met al de verschillende designermerk boetieks. Heel tof om je shopping af te sluiten is de rooftop bar helemaal in Ibiza stijl op de zevende verdieping, juist op tijd voor happy hour !

We couldn’t go to Paris without visiting The Galeries Lafayette, the greatest shopping mall of Paris. After wandering through the many designer collections, under the one-hundred-year-old steel and glass coupole we went to the 7th floor for we a ‘happy hour’ break in Ibiza style at the Cube Bar.
Met bloggers op citytrip gaan is vroeg opstaan, 100’den foto’s nemen en twee uur te laat aan de ontbijt tafel komen. Ons gemeenschappelijk doel die ochtend was : een leuke foto maken met het spectaculaire zicht op de Eiffeltoren vanuit onze suite.
Mornings in Paris aren’t quite the same as at home, lol. After a two hour blogger photoshoot (behind the scenes was just hilarious) we finally maneged to have our breakfast on the typical Parisian street terrace of the hotel.
Ook een beetje cultuur op ons programma en de typische toerist uithangen met het bezoek aan Montmartre en de place du Tertre.
Montmartre is a large hill in Paris’s 18th arrondissementMontmartre’s most recognizable landmark is the Basilica du Sacré-Coeur, constructed from 1876 to 1912.
En wat had ik allemaal mee in de valies ? Met die tropische temperaturen vooral midi jurken, sandalen en een leuke korte jumpsuit. En natuurlijk de bijhorende zonnebrillen en tassen om de looks af te werken ;)!
Ending this Parisian blog post with a typical ‘what I wore’ in Paris : It was more than 30°C in Paris, so I took only dresses, sandals and a cute ruffle play suit with me. And of course different sunglasses and bags to match my looks ;-).
When are we going back girls ?
